VOCO stands for more than 50 years of experience in designing and manufacturing high-quality wire products. We specialise in manufacturing copper-coated wires, drawn wires and wire mesh. As a business unit of NOTZgroup we combine the expertise of a traditional Swiss company with the capacity of an innovative wire-making plant in France.

VOCO benefits from technological synergies, competence in materials and the optimised processes of NOTZgroup to meet the highest standards on a world scale.

2012

Technical modernisation

Many drawing machines are retrofitted to produce a wider range of round or flat rolled wires. The capacity of the copper coating line is increased and additional annealing furnaces are installed. The synergies between the Swiss sites and VOCO mean the most demanding specifications can be met.

2009

Production relocated

The machines from the VOCO Draht AG site at Reinach in Switzerland are moved to Dannemarie in France. The relocation allows capacity to be increased and production diversified.

2008

Acquisition and change of name

In 2008 NOTZgroup also acquires Vogt & Cie Tréfilerie. After integration the entity is renamed VOCO Sàrl and headquartered in Dannemarie, France.

2005

Integration into NOTZgroup

VOCO Draht AG of Switzerland is integrated into NOTZgroup. The acquisition marks the start of the development of activities in France and Switzerland in drawing and specialist metal solutions.

2004

Specialisation and exports

Vogt & Cie focuses on drawing galvanised and copper-coated wire for metal scourers. It also makes knitting machines that work with coiled wire. 75% of the output is exported.

2003

Growth of the site

Vogt & Cie Tréfilerie employs around 80 staff. The site occupies 22,320 m², of 7,510 m² are covered.

1936

Foundation of Vogt & Cie

Tréfilerie Vogt & Cie founded by Max Vogt in Dannemarie, France. The Vogt family already ran a drawing plant in Reinach in Switzerland that employed as many as 250 people.
