VOCOBINDER

Binding wire for textile applications

VOCOBINDER binding wire is specially designed for making and assembling weaving reeds. Precise alignment and secure fixing of the dents of the reed are key to optimal weaving performance.

We offer two main types of wire:

  • Stainless steel wire AISI 430/1.4016: offers excellent traction resistance, high dimensional stability and strong corrosion resistance, ensuring optimal durability even in humid weaving environments.
  • Copper-coated steel wire 1003: offers a smooth surface and high adhesive properties, ideal for accurate binding and regular spacing when making reeds.

Both types of wire are available in a wide range of diameters and suitable spool sizes.
Rigorous control of tolerances and quality guarantee consistent and reliable performance, even during the most demanding textile processes.

Tensile strength

600 – 1,000 MPa for stainless steel AISI 430

600 – 800 MPa for copper-plated steel C4D
